Al-Nassr was founded in 1955 by the Al-Ja'ba brothers. Training took done in an ancient playground near Gashlat Al-Shortah, west of Al-Fotah Garden, which included a small football pitch and a small room for storing balls and clothes. In addition to the Al-Ja'ba brothers, Ali and Al-Owais, Prince Abdul Rahman bin Saud Al Saud became the head of Al Nassr, serving as president for three terms until dying. His affection for the team drove him to undertake the task of becoming president of a second-tier club and converting it into a champion, earning him the nickname Al-Nassr's Godfather. They advanced to the first division in 1963. In the 1970s and 1980s, the club won Four Saudi Premier League championships, five King's Cups, two Crown Prince Cups, and a Federation Cup. The team's success was built on the "Saudi Golden Trio" of Majed Abdullah, Fahd Al-Herafy, and Mohaisn Al-Jam'aan.

Club History

Al-Nassr Saudi Club is located in the heart of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was founded by Zaid and Hussein, the sons of Mutlaq Al-Jabaa and the sons of their neighborhood, with the ambition and determination of young people. The start date was Monday, October 24, 1955 AD, which corresponded to 1375 AH. They chose the name (Al-Nassr) because it represents victory and joy, as well as being the ambition of every successful and superior person. They used the two colors (yellow and blue) as their club's logo to represent the sands and sea surrounding the Arabian Peninsula. The Arabian Peninsula logo was also chosen for the kit's chest to represent their devotion to and pride in their magnificent homeland.

The first team then worked tirelessly to advance from the second division to the professional league. As one of the most prominent Saudi, Arab, and Asian clubs to this day, Al-Nassr has amassed numerous trophies and accomplishments over its history that the nation as a whole and its fans, in particular, are proud of, where Al-Nassr has achieved 46 trophies, including 17 league titles and two Asian Championships.

The achievements of Al-Nassr extended beyond its magnificent homeland. Even so, it brought honor to the country and the Asian region by being the first Asian club to compete in the inaugural Club World Cup in Brazil in 2000. Al-Nassr was commended for its dignified participation and representation of the Asian continent by all Asian critics, experts, and sports figures throughout the competition. It got the Fair Play Award, allowing it to carry the label of (AlA'alamy) which means: Globally well-known.
As the only Asian club to participate in official matches across all four continents (Asia, Africa, South America, and Europe), Al-Nassr holds the title of (Continental). Al-Nassr Club now holds official matches at Mrsool Park, a venue that used to be known as King Saud University Stadium and has a capacity of about 25,000.
